Contractors

Concrete for the jobs that do not fit a truck.

The right amount of concrete for the small pours, without planning your week around a ready-mix truck.

A black pickup hitched to a towable mixer under the batch plant's chute.

What we are for

Repairs, pads, punch lists and the odd yard.

The pours where getting the right amount on the right day matters more than volume. Pick it up in one of our mixers, or have us bring it.

  • Repairs and punch-list work
  • Equipment pads and utility work
  • Sidewalks, steps and additions
  • Any pour where a full truck is too much

Accounts

How contractor pricing works.

  1. Order a few loads

Your first orders are at the published rates, paid before we pour, like everyone else.

  2. Show us a pattern

Regular orders and prompt payment are what we look at when someone asks for an account.

  3. Ask for an account

When you are pouring with us regularly, ask. Established contractors can apply for a commercial account by phone or through the form.

  4. Terms, if it fits

Credit terms come after approval and a look at payment history. Not every account gets net terms, and applying is not a promise of them.

Pricing

Special contractor pricing is available.

The pricing page is the retail schedule. Once you have a history with us, we work out your pricing with you directly.

  • The rates are on the pricing page

Packages, delivery zones, additives, add-ons and site charges, all published. There is no separate contractor rate card.

  • Your pricing, once we know you

After you have been ordering for a while, we quote your pricing to you. It is between us, not a discount code.

  • What stays at list price

Delivery, disposal, washout, late fees, additives, buggy and conveyor service, and placement labor. Those cost the same for everyone.

Common questions

The things contractors ask before the first order, in case one of them is yours.

Do you charge a short-load fee?

No. A small load is already built into the package price, so there is nothing extra on top.

How much can Contender deliver at once?

Up to 3¾ yards in one run, using more than one 1¼-yard mixer. A bigger order can be scheduled as repeated loads.

Can I get concrete today?

Sometimes. Next-day service is often available. Ask by 2 pm for tomorrow. Every order has to be confirmed before it is scheduled.

Do you offer contractor accounts?

Yes. Approved contractors may qualify for a commercial account. Payment terms come after a review. The contractors page has the details.

Ready to set up an account?

Tell us who you are and what you pour, and we will get back to you. In the meantime, price your next job on the calculator.
