Services

Full-service concrete

For the right job we do the whole thing, not just the concrete. A site visit, a written proposal, then forms, pour, finish and cleanup.

How full service works.

For qualified projects, Contender can provide a complete concrete proposal rather than delivery alone.

  • Every job is looked at on its own
  • Small residential and light-commercial pours, about 10 yards or less
  • Where our equipment and crews give a clear access or scheduling advantage
  • No instant price. A site visit, then a written proposal

How it works

Four steps, visit to cleanup.

  1. Tell us about it

Send the details or call. What you want poured, where, and when.

  2. Site visit

We come out, look at access and the ground, and measure up.

  3. Written proposal

You get a written proposal that says exactly what is included and what it costs.

  4. We pour and finish

Our crew forms, pours, finishes and cleans up. Payment follows the schedule in the proposal.

Good to know

What is in a proposal, and what is on you.

  • Only what is written in

Sealing, staining, decorative finishes, heavy grading, permits, engineering, testing and unusual disposal are included only when the written proposal says so.

  • Access is yours to provide

You give us lawful access to the work area and point out private utilities, irrigation lines, septic parts and anything else hidden in the ground.

  • Utility locating

We coordinate public utility locating when it is required. Private lines must be marked by the property owner or a locating service.

  • Project size

We do our own full-service work on pours of about 10 yards or less. A bigger or more specialized job may go to a trade partner we trust, or we may pass on it, depending on scope, schedule and risk.

The proposal

What a full-service proposal may include.

Each job gets its own list. These are the parts we can take on.

  • Demolition, excavation and haul-off
  • Grading and base preparation
  • Form installation
  • Rebar or welded-wire reinforcement
  • Concrete production and delivery
  • Placement, screeding and finishing
  • Form removal and basic cleanup

Common questions

The things people ask about full-service concrete, in case one of them is yours.

Can Contender complete the entire concrete job?

Yes, for jobs that qualify. We can quote the prep, forms, reinforcement, placing and finishing.

How is full service priced?

By the job, after a look at the site. Delivery, placing and finishing depend on access, the base and the finish you want, and none of that is priced from a table.

Ready to talk about your job?

Tell us what you want poured and where. We come out, look, and send a written proposal.
